Mutual Aid to Dix Hills

The Deer Park Fire Department was activated for a mutual aid structure fire to the Dix Hills Fire Department at aprox. 10:00 pm last night. The crew of Quint 1-4-14 assisted with the extinguishment of the fire upon arrival. While on scene, Dix Hills command requested another crew from Deer Park due to the extent of the fire and size of the structure. The Deer Park Fire Department responded with quint 1-4-14, 1-4-11, as well as first assistant chief ken rios and chief of department robert macaluso. Both of the crews were back in service at 1:15 am.
